3 things
to know before buying a used car
Don’t do the test drive on your own. Bring somebody else along who can provides a second opinion. this is often especially important if you’re buying a dream machine as that person can keep you grounded and means faults you’ve overlooked.
The test drive is your chance to evaluate the car and look for faults. It’s not a joy ride so make sure you take the thing over bumpy roads to get a feel for how it rides uneven surfaces. If possible, take it up to some speed and the test the brakes without taking any real risks.
Above all make sure the car matches the outline . It’s a second hand car so it won’t be perfect but the choices it’s alleged to have should be there and therefore the gadgets it came with should all work unless that’s laid out in the advert.
